Good afternoon!
The spring conferences are fast approaching, so I wanted to get this information out to you. For the past several years, I have invited 5th grade students to join their conferences as I believe it is important for them to hear about their strengths, learning styles, and goals to work on before middle school. This is not mandatory at all... in fact, many students may not benefit from this experience. You know your child best, so think about it and talk with him/ her about if this would be helpful. I will support you either way. For anyone on the fence about this, feel free to email me if you have questions. Every student who has taken me up on this opportunity in the past has always grown so much because of it. It can be awkward, but it is an important skill to persevere through. It helps us all be on the same page too.
Here is the link for my spring conferences... I'm looking forward to seeing you then!
Thanks,
Kerry
